Ovacome has partnered up with Kwil to offer a free online will-writing service, and an updating service for them, for people living in England and Wales. They also offer telephone and online support for people living in England and Wales. Writing your will can take as little as 30 minutes. Ovacome is the UK’s national ovarian cancer support charity. We have been providing personalised support and information to those diagnosed with ovarian cancer and their loved ones since 1996.
We are at the heart of the ovarian cancer community and as a membership charity, we work directly to meet the needs of those affected by the disease.
Our support services include:
- Telephone, email, text and instant chat support
- An online forum, we support over 16,000 on our forum
- Regional events across the UK, including research days, health and wellbeing days, and information afternoons
- A programme of online talks, workshops and support groups, that you can join from home
- Support lines and information in six community languages: Arabic, Bengali, Gujarati, Polish, Punjabi, Urdu
As a screening programme for ovarian cancer does not yet exist, it is crucial that we raise awareness in a targeted and effective way.
- We actively work to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, as well as the lived experiences of those affected by it.
- We run our B.E.A.T. symptoms awareness campaign among the general public.
- We give workplace talks, with one of our members to raise awareness.
- We educate student doctors and nurses about how the symptoms can present through our Survivors Teaching Students programme.
- We work with the ovarian cancer community to address barriers to access and health inequalities through our Enhancing Patient Experience programme for healthcare professionals.
*If you choose our telephone wills option made with one of our SRA regulated solicitors you will be required to leave at least a £100 donation to your chosen charity in your will. This does not apply to our online wills, only wills made with our solicitor.

I have just used Kwil for my mum's...
I have just used Kwil for my mum's power of attorneys. The online process was self explanatory and straightforward. After completion i received a call from the lovely Angela, Who went over my application snd guided me through the next stage. Using Kwil is very much cheaper than a local solicitors and i did not fancy doing it myself as seemed a long and complicated process so i would recommend them as i am assured the outcome for the LPA'S is exactly as if i had paid triple the price.

I have found Kwil to be very helpful…
I have found Kwil to be very helpful and efficient. I have taken out a Will and both LPA in Financial, Health and Welfare recently. The paperwork is relatively self explanatory but if I had a question I didn't understand or the correct way to write something help was always to hand. Angela telephoned me on a couple of occasions to see if everything was OK. No one ever really likes to think about Wills and Legal Power of Attorney but please don't be put off. Kwil takes the stress away and also their prices are more affordable compared to solicitors.
