We started working with Kwil as part of our Make a Will month campaign in October this year. As you can imagine we had to change our usual face to face approach and wanted to have a way for people to make their wills, from the safety of their own homes.
We explored a couple of online providers but what appealed about Kwil was the ease of using the site and the online support for those making their will through this service.
Using Kwil during our Make a Will Month campaign has been really successful. 40 supporters created their Will through Kwil. 11 of those have left us a Gift in their Will with the others making one-off donations direct to the Hospice. By using Kwil we have been able to offer our supporters more options for creating their Will whilst still being able to raise money for our patient care.
Kwil are a fantastic company to work with. They have been very professional, quick to respond and always looking to meet your individual needs. The online dashboard is really useful too, as you can see how the service is being utilised and any gifts that have been left to the Hospice. Due to the success of partnering with Kwil during Make a Will Month, at St Gemma’s Hospice we are now offering Kwil’s Online Will writing service all year round to our supporters! This is really important not only because it means more people can have their will written easily, but it’s also a great way for us to promote gifts in wills as a way of supporting the Hospice.
